Exhibit Builder/Cabinet Maker
September 2026
Novak Birch is seeking an experienced, full-time custom display and exhibit builder to fabricate high-quality displays, exhibits, signage and other various types of display construction.
Responsibilities
- Fabricate a variety of trade show exhibits, commercial office interior installations, custom signage, retail sales displays, and more.
- Collaborate with other builders and the shop manager to develop and fabricate custom solutions for clients.
- Interpret drawings and designs accurately to fabricate displays and exhibits to specification.
Requirements
- Previous experience as a cabinet maker or exhibit builder is preferred.
- Expert working knowledge of shop tools and techniques, including laminating, finishing, and assembly.
- Great attention to detail.
- Ability to stay on task and work independently while collaborating effectively in a team environment.
- Excellent time-management skills and the ability to manage multiple projects with shifting and competing deadlines.
- Ability to lift 50 lbs.
- CAD experience is a plus.
- Candidates must have a valid driver’s license.
This is a full-time, year-round position in a shop environment, with some overtime required.
We offer a competitive salary and comprehensive benefits package. Pay starts at $25 per hour and increases based on experience.
