We’re working with a hospital in Coastal North Carolina seeking a BC Emergency Medicine Physician for ongoing Summer coverage.
Highlights:
• Coverage starting ASAP and throughout Summer 2026
• Variety of shifts: days, swings, and nights
• No call required
• Inpatient Emergency Department coverage
• ~100 patients/day (~1.8 patients per hour)
• Average inpatient census around 20
• Hospitalist support for admissions
• Standard EM procedures required
• Travel, lodging, and malpractice coverage provided
Facility Details:
• Critical access hospital setting
• Full support team in place
• Respond to codes required
• Coastal location with strong team environment
Requirements:
• Board Certified Emergency Medicine
• Active North Carolina license and DEA
